Walnut oil is reported to help prevent wrinkles. It is a good choice to use in formulations intended to treat eczema or control dandruff and rough, dry or sunburned skin. Walnut oil is best used at 10-15% in anti-aging and skin toning products. Walnut oil is an especially useful in lip balms, anti-wrinkle eye creams, products for maturing skin and body and within bath and massage oils.
Grape Seed oil is rich in vitamins, minerals, linoleic acid and other essential fatty acids. It is a light, slightly astringent, penetrating oil for massage and aromatherapy applications. Grape Seed oil is a nourishing addition to lotion, cream, lip balm, eye cream and special formulations intended for dry, damaged or aging skin.
Cranberry seed oil is highly moisturizing and easily penetrates the skin. It is rich in tocotrienols (vitamin E) and other antioxidants. It possesses a unique balance of omega 3, 6 and 9 EFAs not found in other oils. Cranberry seed oil is a good addition to moisturizing lip balm, belly balm, cream, lotion, face and under eye cream formulations.
Jojoba oil closely resembles the skins' own sebum roll. This superior grade non-greasy oil is prized for its ability to easily penetrate and to protect the three layers of your skin. Jojoba oil is a natural antioxidant; it also acts as a sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 16. The oil's vitamin E and minerals make your skin feel especially soft and moist.
Apricot-kernel oil for nourishment: The light oil of apricot kernels can penetrate easily into the sensitive, delicate skin around the eyes, as well. Apricot-kernel oil nourishes the skin and protects it from the cold and dryness, helping it stay supple and wrinkle-free.
Beeswax acts as an emulsifier, providing a creamy consistency to homemade eye cream. At the same time, this natural product protects the delicate skin around the eyes by sealing in beneficial moisture and preventing it from evaporating.

Rosehip seed oil contains good amounts of vitamin C. It is high in GLA, which help reduce the signs of aging, especially the fine lines around the eyes (crow's feet) and lines around the mouth. Rosehip seed oil has the ability to speed turnover of skin cells without drying or flaking. Rosehip seed oil contains Vitamin A, which helps to delay the effects of skin aging, assists with cell regeneration, and promotes collagen and elastin levels to increase.

Grapeseed oil is light in texture and is easily absorbed by the skin. Making it perfect for normal to oily skin. Grape seed oil has mildly astringent qualities, which help to tighten and tone the skin, making it a good cosmetic ingredient for anti-aging products. Grapeseed oil is known to contain powerful antioxidants. It is noted to be especially effective for repair of the skin around the eyes, making it an essential to homemade eye serums. Also works great for acne.
Usage Amount:: Can be used at 100% strength
Pomegranate Oil is quickly absorbed into the skin. It is high in antioxidants (such as polyphenol) which fight free radicals and promote skin regeneration. It has been found to nourish and moisturize the skin, improving elasticity, reducing wrinkles and preventing aging. It has also been shown to help sunburned and ultraviolet damaged skin.
Usage Amount: Normally used up to 5%-10% of total formula. Ex: 10% Pomegranate Oil, 90% jojoba oil

Essential oils are known for their therapeutic skin healing abilities. Anti Aging Eye Serum Recipe Restorative
Ingredients:
1 ounce Jojoba oil
5 drops Chamomile essential oil
5 drops Rose essential oil
Directions:
Combine essential oils with Jojoba oil and store in a one-ounce glass bottle with a dropper top.
To Use:
Apply 1 drop of the oil to your finger and gently smooth the oil beneath your eye and onto the area just beneath the brow bone. Do not apply oil directly to your eyelids.
Jojoba Eye Wrinkle Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
3 tsp. jojoba oil
3 tsp. apricot-kernel oil
1 tsp. beeswax
5 tsp. rose water
1/4 tsp. borax
5 drops carrot-seed essential oil
Directions:
Put the jojoba oil, apricot-kernel oil and beeswax into a small saucepan and heat the mixture over a double broiler on very low heat.
Remove from heat and stir to blend. While that is cooling, in another small saucepan, warm the rose water over very low heat and add the borax; stir until the borax is dissolved, and remove from heat. Borax acts as a natural preservative. Allow to cool to medium luke warm temp. Add to borax/rose water in the oil wax blend. Rapidly stir wax and oils and rose water and borax mixture. Allow to cool to room temp then add the carrot-seed essential oil.
Put the finished eye cream into a clean glass cosmetic jar.
To Use:
Apply the cream under your eyes and leave for about 10 minutes; wipe off the excess cream with a soft cloth. Apply each morning and evening before moisturizing.
Ultimate Eye Serum Recipe
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon Grape Seed Oil
1 teaspoon Pomegranate Seed Oil
1 teaspoon Carrot Oil
1 teaspoon Cranberry Seed Oil
Directions:
Combine oils and store in a one-ounce glass bottle with a dropper top.
To Use:
Apply 1 drop of the oil to your finger and gently smooth the oil around eye area at night. Less is more!
Eye Wrinkle Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
3 tsp. jojoba oil
3 tsp. apricot-kernel oil
1 tsp. Cranberry Seed Oil
1 tsp. beeswax
5 drops carrot-seed essential oil
Directions:
Melt beeswax and oils. Stir, cool to room temp. Add carrot seed EO. Pour into jar.
To Use:
Apply to your finger and gently smooth the oil around eye area at night. Less is more!
Cucumber Eye Gel
Ingredients:
1 Tbs. aloe vera gel
1 tsp. fresh cucumber juice
¼ tsp. cornstarch
1 Tbs. witch hazel
Directions:
Mix together aloe, cucumber and cornstarch. Heat until just boiling, about 1 minute in microwave. Remove from heat source and stir in witch hazel. Stir well and allow the mixture to cool completely. You should have a clear, jelly-like cream. Spoon into a small clean jar. To use: Dab a small amount under your eyes and be careful not to rub or pull the delicate skin under your eyes. Aloe Vera Eye Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon Apricot Kernel oil
1 teaspoon Grapefruit seed essential oil
1 teaspoon grated Beeswax
1/2 teaspoon Aloe Vera gel
1 Vitamin E capsule
Directions:
Combine oil and Beeswax in the top of a double boiler. Heat until wax has melted; remove from the heat. Using a wooden spoon, mix in the aloe gel. Allow to cool to lukewarm temp and add essential oil and Vitamin E (puncture the capsule and squeeze out its contents), stir well. Pour into a small glass jar. Cool and cap tightly. Apply nightly before bed.
Cocoa Butter Eye Cream
Ingredients:
2 Tbs petroleum jelly
2 Tbs cocoa butter
2 Tbs coconut oil
Directions:
Mix ingredients in a small bowl. Gently heat in microwave at 15 second intervals, stirring between each. Pour into a clean glass container and cool completely. Use nightly around your eyes.
Lavender Eye Serum Recipe
Ingredients:
3 Tbs. Jojoba oil
1 Tbs. Grape seed oil
5 drops Lavender Essential Oil
3 drops Roman chamomile Essential Oil
2 drops Bergamot Essential Oil
Directions:
Mix these oils in a glass eye dropper jar. Shake well before each use. Take one drop and gently apply to eye area before bedtime. This can also be used as an all over facial serum.
Anti Wrinkle Eye Serum Recipe for younger women
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons Hazelnut oil
15 drops Jojoba oil
3 drop Lavender essential oil
